Dreams of Death

******This is the first really long, really depressing poem that I ever
wrote. I'm really quite proud of it. It's a dark poem that's about suicide
and death and the feeling of emtiness in my soul that goes along with any
thought of it.******
I sit here and I watch,
Watch my blood drip to the ground.
I sit here unafraid as my sorrows drain away.
My pain long forgotten, I watch it stain the ground.
My sorrows long forgotten, I watch it fade away.
Drip by drip the poison bleeds from a wound I can't remember.
Bit by bit the puddle grows as my life fades away.
I forget my sorrow, forget my pain, forget my life, forget my name.
I forget my joy, as it flies away, I forget my life, it's all the same.
My pain abounds and my pain corrodes,
My sorrow corrupts and my sorrow grows.
My blood stains the ground,
Bit by bit, drip by drip, a puddle of poison from a wound, from a slit.
I wait and I watch as my blood flows away,
I watch and I wait as my life ends today.
I sit here and I watch,
Watch my blood drain to the floor.
I see your look of horror
As you break in through my door.
I know you can't believe
That I would die this way,
Slowly, through so small a wound,
My life wasted with the day.
I knew you'd try to stop me,
The things you would have said,
But you know I can't be dying
When I'm already dead.
There's nothing left to live for,
No tears left to be shed,
No sorrows now to suffer,
Only puddles of bloodred.

I don't like poetry...it's scary and pretty all at once..O_o; Do we have to put up Kikyo-hating poems? Why not "Oh Kikyo! YOUR SO COOL!"? hahah, jus messin wiff ya, bay-bee. Can we put up like ANY kind of poetry?

Oh, I'm a dumbass  Didn't see the first poem..*clears throat* ahem..
In the sadness
I was holding my dream tightly
Even though I was freezing cold in the rain
Dream, I never even thought
of the fire in my heart
Blue sky, the boundless sky
As long as the light exists there
Being hot, being strong, we continue to live
I want to protect our limitless future
by holding love in the air
True, even though the
years are stained by sins
People learn to lie, through being hurt
But the tears down our faces
Just as when we were children
Blue sky, the clear sky
The dream that has wings
Flies against the wind, someday
The paradise that our passion
Will create is for eternal future
*teary eyed* I thought it was pretty! ^_^

Cool. I have one too.
My life is a joke. One of sorrow and death. My family long gone and my hope vanished before my blurred eyes. All sense of feeling has left my body. I feel no love or fear, no hope or dispair. There is nothing left but the thought of my past.
Well how is it? I'll add more some other time.

lol thanks! but it wasn't mine, i posted it because i found it and thought it was pretty, i take absolutely no credit what so ever for it, and if i'm correct i actually believe it's lyrics, to a rurouni kenshin song.

i just wrote one today in math calss and it's about how much i hate kikyo.if you want i could post it or send it to your e-mail with my other songs so you can read them.
